The Institute of Geo-Hydroinformatics focuses on creating new knowledge through research and innovation, developing new measurement tools and predictive capabilities to provide accurate understanding of the processes occurring near Earth’s surface. Within this context, this multidisciplinary project will focus on the investigation of the climate change driven sea level rise and its consequences on groundwater hydrology with a particular focus on the shoreline of the Lower Elbe river in Germany.
