  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $131,094 – $151,609 + super

Our Water Group team is currently seeking to appoint a Principal Project Officer, Climate to lead the delivery of strategic climate and water initiatives. In this role, you will lead a project team responsible for managing programs to integrate and embed new climate risk data and modelling through broader NSW government water management and planning processes, as well as oversee research and collaborate with the Water Modelling team to ensure there is consistency and continual improvement in water related climate analysis.

About You

You will have demonstrated experience in leading the development and delivery of programs to achieve priority objectives in the context of climate variability, climate change and risk. You will also have strong communication and collaboration skills, building and maintaining relationships with other agencies including scientific experts and advisers to assist with policy implementation.
