In 2022, the South East Rivers Trust (SERT) celebrates 20 years of bringing rivers back to life. During this time, we’ve had some amazing and inspiring accomplishments, and we have some fantastic stories to tell about the difference we are making.
Capitalising on our anniversary to raise the profile of the Trust and its impact, reach new audiences and promote the value of healthy rivers, SERT is looking to recruit a Communications Officer.
The Communications Officer is a new role at the Trust and will enable us to truly celebrate our work and inspire further support from communities, funders and partners. Working within the Trust’s Education & Engagement Team, the role will take ownership of and transform our digital and traditional communications, raising the profile of the charity.
This role is the perfect opportunity for an individual with a broad range of communications experience to join a growing charity and shape the public face of SERT to support us in our goal to bring rivers back to life for people and wildlife.
Initially offered as a two-year fixed term 0.8 FTE contract, it is expected that the position will be extended, subject to satisfactory performance. This is an exciting opportunity to join and support a growing and dynamic team making a real difference for the environment.
