Environmental Specialist, Junior

Key Role:

Provide federal agency programs with support in environmental compliance areas, including implementation of environmental regulations, such as NEPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA, CERCLA, Executive Orders, conservation, sustainability, and Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health. Contribute to policy and data analyses. Analyze guidance, outreach, strategy, and plans. Support DoD and civil federal agency programs’ environmental compliance, conservation, sustainability, and ESOH implementation efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with using Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Ability to perform analysis, policy writing, and client support

-Ability to create and deliver oral and written presentations

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations, including NEPA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, RCRA, CERCLA, and Executive Orders

-Experience with conducting data analysis using data analytics software

-Secret clearance

-Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Policy or a related field preferred
