ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
The Development Impact Evaluation (DIME) Department of the World Bank Groups Development Economics (DEC) Vice-Presidency is hiring a firm to lead data collection activities for an impact evaluation in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The selected firm will be responsible for collecting endline data in 331 villages across four provinces: South Kivu, Kongo Central, Kasaï and Kasaï Central provinces. The data collection will involve about 3,310 households questionnaires, 331 leaders questionnaires, 1,000 water-point mapping questionnaires, and a stand-alone behavioral governance mini-intervention. The behavioral measure will include a small grant competition targeting water and sanitation infrastructure in a handful of winning villages. Specific activities such as COVID-19 antibody tests, anthropometric measurement, water-quality tests, and structured observations of WASH practices (at the household level) will also be conducted. Extensive experience carrying out household surveys in the DRC and or other fragile and conflict-affected countries as well as a strong track record of high-quality performance are required.

The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

NOTES
Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding.
Only those firms which have been shortlisted will receive notification. No debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted. Qualification Criteria

- 2. Provide information on the technical and managerial capabilities of the firm.
- 3. Provide information on their core business and years in business.
- 4. Provide information on the qualifications of key staff.
