As the Senior Analyst of Supply Chain & Corporate Environmental Responsibility, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Environmental Responsibility in the Product Impact and Innovation Department. In this role you will be responsible for managing the supply chain and corporate environmental impact data, KPIs for climate, water use and quality, waste and chemistry and will support program management and implementation of our environmental responsibility standards across the Patagonia Global Supply Chain and our Operations. You will also be a key team member responsible for the analysis and progress reporting against Patagonia’s Climate Commitments. Through your day-to-day contributions you will directly impact our quest to Save Our Home Planet.
What You’ll Do
Supply Chain Environmental Data Management and Reporting
- Collect, analyze, streamline, and maintain multiple sources of supply chain & corporate environmental impact data while ensuring the highest level of data integrity
- Develop and maintain the supply chain environmental impact and audit compliance dashboards and supplier environmental scorecards
- Track and develop progress reports on internal supply chain environmental KPIs for climate, water use & quality, waste, and chemistry
- Contribute to strategic planning through analysis and modeling of supply chain environmental impacts
- Liaison with external data provides and organizations such as Patagonia suppliers, bluesign, and Higg Co
- Develop tools and guidance documents for key internal stakeholders
- Provide supply chain environmental data for sustainability related external reporting (B-Corp, Higg BRM etc.)
- Work cross-functionally with other internal Supply Chain Stakeholders in the development and implementation of supply chain impact scores
Supply Chain Environmental Impact Due Diligence
- Participate in Patagonia supplier onboarding process (“4-Fold”)
- Assist in evaluating environmental risks and performance of new and existing supply chains via questionnaires, surveys, off-site and on-site assessments, third party reports and certifications
- Assist in performing root cause analysis and identifying remediation strategies to reduce supplier environmental impact, provide technical guidance on corrective actions and continuous improvement plans
- Analyze third party reports and certification for program equivalency
- Assist team in regularly updating the Supplier Environmental Responsibility manual
- Liaison with and support Asian based field staff on data and program inquires
- Conduct research on innovative facility level technologies, carbon and water markets, environmental reduction interventions, and relevant standards related to Patagonia’s environmental impact reduction efforts
Corporate Environmental Data Management and Reporting
- Manage and streamline Patagonia’s corporate utility data collection process and web-based platform, ensuring continuous input and accuracy of data, coordination with internal colleagues, and any system update or process changes
- Analyze, track, and report all corporate environmental data to identify gaps and develop strategic impact reduction initiatives with internal stakeholders
- Manage the annual greenhouse gas (GHG) calculations, serving as a key point of contact for Scope 1 and 2 calculations and Scope 3 calculations, not including the Product LCA GHG calculations
- Update and maintain carbon emissions inventory process methodology
- Partner with internal & external stakeholders to track and manage Patagonia’s offset and inset portfolio
- Develop corporate wide tools/guidance on environmental initiatives such as our climate commitments, RE and zero waste targets for regional environmental leads

Experience You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or equivalent engineering degree in relevant sciences
- Master’s degree in environmental sciences, engineering, or relevant sciences highly desired
- 3-5 years’ experience working in a similar role on environmental data collection, analysis, reporting and impact reduction
- 3 years of greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting experience
- 3 years of environmental, climate and/or sustainability auditing experience in industry highly desired
- Climate and/or sustainability consulting experience highly desired
- Sound understanding of environmental issues significant to our industry and/or supply chains
- Proficiency in Tableau and/or other business intelligence (BI) tools
- Experience using ArcGIS and/or other data visualization tools highly desired
- Familiarity with climate and environmental reporting standards such as the Global Resources Institute (GRI) Greenhouse Gas Reporting Protocols
- Strong data management, analysis and visualization skills, and familiarity with statistical software, database, and analytics tools for supply chain environmental data management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
