Our Environmental Water Management team in the Water Group is seeking a Water Resource Officer to undertake a range of hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support the implementation of water management policy and planning for NSW. In this role, you will also liaise with a range of stakeholders and provide support on multidisciplinary projects.
About you
You will have proven experience in water resource management, , along with the ability to analyse and interpret hydrologic data and other information and make appropriate recommendations that support policy and planning development and implementation. You will be highly organised, with the ability to prioritise your workload and achieve deadlines within a fast-paced work environment. A good understanding of water sharing plans and how environmental water is managed in NSW is also highly regarded.

Essential requirements
- Degree level qualifications in environmental engineering, natural resource management, environmental science, or a related discipline.
