  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $113,343 to $124,901 + super

The Water Group within the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Project Officer, Regional Towns Water and Sewerage. In this role, you will monitor water utilities, infrastructure and regulatory compliance to support regional water and sewerage services in meeting the needs of communities. You will act as a Government representative on regional town water issues, providing advice on associated government funding programs.

About You

You will have proven experience supporting projects, infrastructure or compliance in relation to Water. You will also have current knowledge of legislation and policy affecting regional water and sewerage services in NSW, and the ability to provide effective advice based on this knowledge. Additionally, you will have the ability to evaluate the cost/benefits of programs and propose effective recommendations.

You will have demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, (working particularly with Government agencies is highly desirable).
