OFFER DESCRIPTION

Development of optimal growth conditions for Pteris vittata, by means of physiological and molecular techniques, to increase the capacity of the fern to remove arsenic from drinking water.

Eligibility criteria

Titles and knolwledge required: Specialized or master Degree in Genomic,Industrial and Environmental Biotechnologies (D.M. 509/99 or D.M. 5/2004) or related disciplines. At least two-year experience in plant molecular biology. Expertise in propagation and growth of plants in soil and hydroponic systems; nucleic acid extraction, qRT-PCR, genomic PCR, inclusion of plant material in resin and paraffin, optical microscopy, image analysis. Acquaintance with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel programs. Good level of English and Italian
