NCEL is currently seeking a project manager to lead NCEL’s state policy work on sustainability topics relating to agriculture and food systems, water quality, and the built environment. Their policy work will center environmental justice and racial equity promotion, as well as the impacts of the climate crisis.
This role will also provide strategic direction and coordination for NCEL’s Mississippi River Legislative Caucus (MRLC). The primary policy focus of this caucus will be on sustainable agricultural systems and practices that reduce nutrient loading, floodplain management and creation, and other policies to protect and restore the Mississippi River. Much of this work will initially take place by organizing and administering the MRLC, but eventually transition to managing staff that will coordinate the caucus.
Deadline to apply is October 4 with applications being considered on a rolling basis.
