The Water Group at the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Project Officer Water Efficiency Programs. In this role, you will facilitate the delivery of water efficiency programs throughout NSW.

Cabinet has approved more than $15 million for water efficiency programs in Regional NSW. The programs will be delivered by the Water Utilities team in the Operations division in collaboration with the Metropolitan Water Strategies team, local water utilities in regional NSW and partners. One of the concurrently run programs will look to prioritise, pilot and implement broad mix water efficiency measures in regional NSW’s local water utilities, whilst the other will take a particular focus on water network leakage.

About You

Developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships is essential to this role to ensure smooth delivery of programs from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship management and communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with others, and be results focussed. If you have demonstrated experience with procurement, project or program delivery skills, this role is for you.
