Local recruitment: Project Officer (Citizen Science)

The River Aire and its tributaries are failing river quality standards. We are recruiting for an exciting new role, Citizen Science Project Officer, who will be able to extend the capability and capacity of the Aire Rivers Trust.

You will work with volunteers and other professionals to undertake Citizen Science and identify and develop riparian improvement projects. You will do this by developing the skill set and empowering citizen scientists for our Riverfly Monitoring Programme, Water Quality Testing, Litter Monitoring and Invasive Species Mapping. You will also undertake river walkovers mapping out opportunities for future projects.

Closing date for applications is midday Tuesday 28th September 2021. You will be told if you are invited for an interview by Thursday 30th September.
