Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for working independently and in a team environment processing and analyzing laboratory samples. Specifically, they will participate in the grinding and weighing of plant tissue samples to analyze for carbohydrate analyses. As they advance, they will additionally assist with the wet chemistry protocols and data analyses, as appropriate. As our work evolves in the lab, so will the tasks, possibly including work on plant water relations measurements.

Candidates must be local

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must be undergraduate degree-seeking students enrolled at an accredited college or university. Candidates must be taking at least 6 credit hours and have an overall GPA of 2.5.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with chemistry labs and interest in plant biology or ecology or climate impacts is welcome. Preferred GPA 3.0 or better.
