The University of Pennsylvania's Social Norms Group is looking for a
postdoctoral fellow to join a three-year project with the goal of studying
and ultimately intervening on the social factors that support open defecation
in rural and urban India. We will be using survey methods, with a focus on
social networks and social norms. The postdoctoral fellow should have good
experience designing, implementing, and analyzing surveys, especially in a
longitudinal context. Ideally they should have an interest in WASH /
Sanitation topics. Knowledge of India is also a plus. The position will last
up to three years. PhD required. This position will be primarily based in
Philadelphia, with occasional travel to India. Applications are being
